Nana's House marks the debut of a new children's book called Nana's House and first-time author Jodiann Schott from Spokane WA. Nana's House is a children's book from a local author but with a global mission.
Inspired by Jodiann Schott's loving grandmother, this book is a reminiscence of Schott's grandmother and the moments they spent together. "The idea of the book was motivated by the memories I have of my grandmother and some of our adventures together," says Jodiann Schott, "including the stories, the laughs, and the things that children do at a grandmother's house--things they wouldn't do at home. The book is meant to encourage a lasting bond between grandmothers and their grandchildren. Grandmothers will enjoy reading this book to their grandchildren, just as I have enjoyed the opportunity to read to my grandchildren."
Proceeds from Nana's House will go to Nana's House Orphanage in Tepic Nayarit, Mexico. Many of these children have been living in unspeakable conditions or even on the street. At Nana's House Orphanage these children receive the love of God, domestic care, protection, and education for their future.
